Lively placeholders
When designing a website, it is normal to use placeholders. Most of the time I use simple black boxes with the dimensions of the image as text. If you have designed any websites I suspect you have done something similar. On the new theme I am currently designing, I went another way.

Finished product
I have just delivered my first project, creating a realistic architectural visualization. I had over a month to complete this assignment, and I am satisfied with the results, although there are some areas that could need some improvements.

Using all resources at hand
I am doing several renders to try to get the best render I can, tweaking settings to get a good render without setting it higher than needed. At first I used my own computer at school, but after a while I got quite tired of waiting for the render and not being able to do anything else meanwhile. That has changed thanks to Backburner!

Creating a mood in the scene
I am in the final week of the project; it has to be turned in on Tuesday next week. There are still some areas that need work, and currently I am sitting at school doing some renders to get the lighting correct for the mood scene.

Back to school
Having a vacation not long after school start is not that fun when you had a great workflow before the vacation started. I really enjoy going to this school, and could have gone without the one week of vacation – I would have preferred it actually. But now I am back at school, trying to get back into the same workflow.
