Back to school
Having a vacation not long after school start is not that fun when you had a great workflow before the vacation started. I really enjoy going to this school, and could have gone without the one week of vacation – I would have preferred it actually. But now I am back at school, trying to get back into the same workflow.

The substance of painting is light
When you work in 3ds max, its easy to forget about the default lights that are at work. In all the previous images I have posted, the lights in the scene have been the default lights in 3ds Max. Thast all good and well for some situations, but for more detailed work you should create your own lights.

After 5 days of school, the weekend brings and end to the first week of 3D Design & Animation. A week filled with introduction to 3Ds Max and a lot of working with primitives to get the desired shape, whether it be a human face or an elephant – it all starts with primitives.
