Temporary Box-out

I’ve completed the box-out, making it easier to see how the roomwill look upon completion. The room does not look exactly like the reference picture, but I am satisfied with the look – although there most certainly will be some adjustments along the way.

I have also placed and locked in the camera I will use in the scene. I ended up using a 20mm lens because this gave me a similar camera as in the reference picture. The reason for locking the camera is that I want to take one render at the end of each day that I work on the project, so that you can see how the whole scene is built up from start to finish.

While working from a reference, I do not have to make it exactly like the image. I am allowed to make changes as I see fit – which is great. I have decided to go for some changes already, like the sofa and table.

The end result however, will be similar. I do like a lot of things in the image, like the wallpaper – which I will probably not get exactly similar but you should be able to see where I got the idea from.
