Planning the workflow
I have been thinking about how much time I will need for all the different tasks that needs to be completed. To get a structured workflow I have made a schedule so that I can keep track of all the aspects of the project.
It seems like a good plan, but I can not say for sure that I am going to stick with it a hundred percent. I am not especially good with these kinds of things, planning what to do when – but I am sure that I will be thankful I did it in the end.
As you can see from the image above, I do have good time to complete the tasks. I am sure some areas will take less time than anticipated, and I am quite sure some areas will cause more headache then I thought. As long as everything is completed before the deadline I am okay with it!
The floor plans
As I am working out of an image, I do not have access to the floor plans for the room I am going to create. That is why I have tried to draw up a rough sketch of how the room is constructed. This was not as easy as I thought it would be before I started actually doing it – I tip my hat to you architects.
The reference image is in perspective, most likely taken (or rendered, as I am quite certain its a 3D render) with a fish-eye effect lense making it harder for me to do an approximate measurement to get a feel for how big the room is when drawing it down.
I am somewhat satisfied with the result, although I might tweak some areas before using it for the temporary box model – which you can see from the schedule is tomorrow!
